Something new I’m trying this year is documenting all of the books I’ve read, or listened to (I’m a huge Libby/Audible/audio book fan), through the year. Pre-2022 I didn’t really read much of anything, minus computer science and software engineering books for work (boring!). That all changed when I got into audio books around that time and have read/listened to more and more books each year!
All of the books I encountered in 2025 were very good, great even! If I were to pick a few standouts, they would be (in order of most favorite, #1. But really all books were good!):

- The AI Con by Emily M. Bender and Alex Hanna
- The Smiling Land by (the) Alan Doyle
- Any Troupe But You by Victoria Lavine
Overall, I read (or listened) to 29 books in 2025. Here they are (in the order I read them in, from January through December 2025)!
